General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) Statement

By completing the forms that follow, you are giving us personal data about you with your free and explicit consent. Please read below to make sure you agree with what we do with this data.

Research purposes: We collect data in order to conduct research. That research is aimed at improving our understanding of ethics for the benefit of humanity. We regularly publish our findings.

Personally identifiable data: Non-anonymous data (data which would allow us to identify you as an individual) is available only to Roger Steare Consulting Limited (the Data Controller) and Psycholate LTD (the Data Processor), for the functions of putting your name on a report and communicating with you in case of technical issues. Such data is held for one year for the sole purpose of re-inviting you to take the questionnaire for research purposes. Psycholate is certified under the International Standards Organisation (ISO/IEC) 27001 standard for Information Security Management Systems.

Anonymized data: Anonymized data are maintained indefinitely and may be shared with other parties for research purposes only. The anonymized data we hold gives us information such as age group, demographic, gender, etc and cannot be used to identify you as an individual, unlike the non-anonymous data (e.g. name, email address).

No advertising: Your details will NOT be used in any marketing or advertising campaigns aimed at selling you goods or services.

Your rights to opt-out: In case you do not wish to provide your data, you may choose “Rather not say” in any or all of the options that follow in the demographics questionnaire. In case you wish your data not to be processed after collection, please send an email to moraldnadata (at) psycholate.com mentioning your objection and the email address you used to register.

Forced choices: During the questionnaires, it is necessary to pick the most fitting answer to ALL questions according to the instructions given. This is necessary in order to calculate your scores according to our statistical model and make meaningful comparisons of your scores to all the data we have in our database. If you do not agree, you are not obliged to complete the questionnaire.

No decisions that affect you: The purpose of this questionnaire is for your own personal development. No important decisions that affect you should be taken based on the results of this questionnaire. In case you think someone will be doing that, such as your employer or a potential employer, please send an email to moraldnadata (at) psycholate.com explaining the circumstances.

Other GDPR rights: In case you are unhappy about what we do with your data, you also have the right to complain to the competent GDPR authority of your EU country.
